Tears, laughter and love, exactly what you would expect at any wedding and Danielle and Jack’s Wedding at Dodford Manor was no different.
This charming barn wedding venue, located within a beautiful country estate in the Northamptonshire countryside, was a perfect setting for a candid wedding photographer such as myself. Strolling the grounds throughout the day allowed the couple to relax and take in the views, whilst I captured those intimate moments between them.
The natural background and large spaces were ideal for the wedding group photos, with beautiful lush green, or classic exposed brick backgrounds that complemented the colour scheme perfectly. I was absolutely spoilt for choice looking for settings for the next set of photos.
The venue itself was full of character, the natural elements of the brick, wood and flowers combined, gave the whole wedding a fairytale feel. This charm and character can really be felt in the pictures and perfectly reflect the warmth of the day.
As the day was ending, cameras were all packed up and I was preparing to leave, I saw the ideal setting for one last couples photoshoot. The sun was peeking out from behind the clouds, making one last appearance, and I knew that at any minute it would produce that perfect golden hour light that couldn’t be wasted. This lighting is my favourite so I quickly tracked down my couple and we found the right spot to take those last few sunset portraits. The perfect ending to a perfect day.
For those looking for a Northamptonshire wedding photographer, look no further. I love the beauty of this area and thoroughly enjoy attending weddings in this part of the country.
